Trip to the Zoo.
Yup! Went down to the Zoo on last thurs. The last time i went was like a decade ago?? Well, with the usual ppl who went to the sentosa with me, here we are at the zoo. It's a brand new experience for me. Unlike trying to run around and scream while viewing the animals like wat i did when young, i'll just quitely look and observed the scenery and the habitat of the animals.
Took the tram and went round the whole place first before we start walking from the entrance again. U know what? Elephants spend 3/4 for their life eating! When i told it to WX, she was like oh... thats so pathetic.. hahaha.. Hmm.. but i was thinking if i have 3/4 of my life slping... woo~~ okok that's for pigs... I guess God had better plans for me though. so what a wishful thinking!
Anyway, after the trip, we went to down to little india to have Indian food! Urgh... i dun like it... im not trying to be prejudice, but i'm really not comfortable with the taste of their food and multi type of sauses.. Not im not the only person who's not comfortable with it.. my mum had stomach flu the next day! Goodness.. my dad was complaining to my aunt after that... kept telling her that they will not to eat Indian food again.. by then, i was reali tired and sleepy. I wanted to go home but my aunt wants to walk ard the place.. in the end, we bought a $480 gold necklace for my maid. Actually the money belongs to my grandma, before she passed away, she did mention that my maid is very good, kept telling us that she wanto give her money.. that was one occasion where she was rather conscious.. So i believe that my grandma reali appreciated her. Anyway, $480 is like several mths of the maid salary! back in Indonesia, their pay per mth is ard $70 onli.. In fact my maid is really blessed to be in our family, i shd say. Apart from the necklace, my aunt even gave $350 cash to her. Actually, my maid came frm quite well to do family, din know why she wanna come here to work.. but nevertheless, i thank God for her.. We are blessed by her, i believed she'd blessed by us too. Oh ya, my bro was suggesting that to give her a bible, but scared when goes back she'll be stoned to death. Haha... But we did share the gospel to her, so i guess that seed will grow one day.
